Boozy’s Legal Funhouse, Episode 5 – All in the Family Law

Today we post the last of the backlog episodes of Boozy’s Legal Funhouse. Starting this week, new episodes will be recorded live on Monday nights and will go live on podcast servers with the video from the recording available on Youtube on Wednesday mornings!

In the last of the backlog episodes, join Boozy Barrister/Boozy Badger, a foul-mouthed Philly area attorney, as he’s joined by someone with a much bigger heart – Pope (Poplizbet on Twitter), a public interest attorney who dedicates their time to helping immigrants in family law and domestic violence situations.  Together, the two discuss general legal news, answer questions from the viewership, and engage in a discussion about the specifics of domestic abuse, family law, and the state of it all.

Recorded on 2/16/2021

New episodes of Boozy’s Legal Funhouse record weekly at 7 PM Eastern at twitch.tv/boozybadger before a live audience, and go live on most podcast services Wednesday mornings.

Boozy’s Legal Funhouse – Episode 4: Legal Ethics and Other Fictions

We’re almost done with the backlog episodes! In this Fourth Episode of Boozy’s Legal Funhouse, I was joined by a prosecutor (Scuff N. Dings) and in house counsel (Buddy Goodboy, Esq.) for a discussion of legal ethics in our own particular fields of practice, as well as answering questions from the audience about legal ethics in general!

Plus we spent a good amount of time talking about how lawyers have trouble keeping it in their pants, apparently, in discussing the news.

Recorded 2/8/2021

WARNING: This is the penultimate backlog episode, and therefore still has Twitch notifications on (Did you know the Legal Funhouse is recorded live online every Monday at 7 PM Eastern on my Twitch channel? It is!). One notification in particular is…interesting. I know it’s interesting. Just…just bear with me, okay? I’ll be turning the audio notifications off in the future but for the sake of hilarity it stays in the picture for now.

Remember, the beatings will continue until someone pays me to shill socks as a subscription service.

New episodes will be uploaded on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. starting this week!

Boozy’s Legal Funhouse- Episode 3, Bankruptcy or Something Like It

In the absence of a guest, this week in the backlog was a bombersight discussion of bankruptcy law as it currently exists in the United States with a dash of legal news, questions, and some disturbing notification sounds from the live stream!

This episode was recorded on 2/1/2021.

Boozy’s Legal Funhouse streams on Twitch every Monday at 7 PM Eastern, with the episodes available generally on Wednesday mornings – unless, like right now, I’m releasing backlog to get my happy ass all caught up!

You can find the Legal Funhouse on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other podcast providers.

Look, I just want Great Courses Plus to notice me.

Boozy’s Legal Funhouse – Episode 2

As we catch up on backlog, here’s the second episode of Boozy’s Legal Funhouse, a weekly stream/podcast where we discuss legal news and issues, interview attorneys, and generally jackass around with a law degree!

This episode was recorded 1/24/2021

Our guest this week was an old friend and former public defender who joined me for a discussion of criminal law and criminal defense, answering questions from Patreon supporters. Also, he did the entire interview wearing a giant, unblinking dog head which was kind of unsettling.

Lawyers are weird, folks.

We are now available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts! So there you go!

Boozy Goes Radio

Hey folks.

So I said I was bringing things back this year, and we’re starting that with Boozy’s Legal Funhouse, a podcast of a live stream and…you know what? Here’s the deal. I’m busy, and I’m trying, and what the world REALLY needs is another self-important lawyer with a microphone talking about things.

The podcast, after the five backlogged episodes go up, will be live every Wednesday on here, on Spotify, and hopefully on Apple once they, you know, make sure I’m not an alien or whatever the hell it is they do.

You can find the first episode below, recorded last year as part of a livestream discussion of landmark LGBTQ+ SCOTUS cases!
